As we gear up for an exciting 2026–2027 wrestling season, I’m thrilled to welcome all returning athletes, new wrestlers, and families to the Castro Valley Girls Wrestling Program. This year’s schedule is built to strengthen fundamentals, elevate competitive performance, and foster a supportive team culture that reflects the proud history of Castro Valley athletics.

🏋️ Preseason Training (August–October)
Our preseason sessions are designed to build conditioning, introduce technique to new athletes, and prepare experienced wrestlers for the intensity of competition.
Training Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Auxiliary Gym Mat Room
Eligibility: Castro Valley students only
Focus Areas:
Strength & conditioning
Foundational technique
Footwork & positioning
Team culture building
All skill levels are welcome — from first‑time wrestlers to seasoned competitors.

🤼 Regular Season Practices (November–February)
Once the official season begins, practices will run Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday sessions for advanced drilling or team events.
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Auxiliary Gym Mat Room
Expectations:
Attendance is required to maintain a roster position
Prior communication is mandatory for any absence
Athletes must arrive prepared, on time, and ready to work
Consistency is the backbone of competitive success, and our attendance policy reflects that commitment.
